Hitler killed 13.5 million people during the Holocaust. Those people included the Jewish Population, Roma, Blacks, disabled people, Jehovah's witnesses, and any people who disagreed with him. In his mind they weren't useful, their lives didn't matter to him. Because of that many people didn't stand up for what was right. Many people should have stood up for the 13.5 million people being killed even if it wasn't their problem. Sticking up for other people during the Holocaust was very important. But the world lacked that skill, and it still does. So many people were scared to talk or didn't say anything because it wasn't their issue. They were scared of Hitler finding them and killing them because Hitler had that power. But their choice to not speak up killed 13.5 million people. But they didn't speak up because they didn't want to be different. Adolf Hitler had brainwashed Germany and many other countries that the Jewish population was bad and that they needed to exterminate them. Nobody knew better at the time. They were brainwashed that horrible thought. Even some of the Jewish population started to believe they were bad. That’s all they knew. So they thought it was ok for Hitler to kill 13.5 million people. 6 million of those people were killed because they were Jewish. About 7.5 million were killed because they weren't like the rest of the germans. Nobody spoke up because they didn't know better which allowed the Nazis and Hitler to put Jewish people in camps and continue to kill them 1 by 1. In conclusion, during the Holocaust people should have stood up for what was right regardless if it affected them. Nobody spoke out cause it wasn't their problem. But when it was their problem nobody else was left to speak out for them. Everybody else was dealing with their own
