The case that I am writing about is the case of Jack from the Lord Of The Flies, written by William Golding. While some may argue that Jack has lost touch with reality. I believe that Jack is a completely sane person because ultimately he did what he did to protect the boys. He just wanted everyone to be safe, which is why he taught them to hunt so they wouldn’t starve. He also sacrificed the pig’s head so the beastie wouldn’t kill the group; Jack is a very young, smart young man who would only ever do what he did in order to help people or keep them safe.
