He denied Descartes’s belief of instinctive ideas and argued that every person was born with a blank mind. Locke’s philosophy implied that people were molded by their environment, and their experiences that they received through their senses from their surroundings. By changing the environment and showing individuals the way to proper influence, they could be changed and influence new ideas on the creation of a new and better world.
