How Did Juliek's Violin Symbolize In The Holocaust

Many things happened during the Holocaust, so naturally there would be many things that were very symbolic to us. A few things that were huge contributions to this symbolism are fire, Juliek’s violin, and the word “corpses”. Fire played a big role in the Holocaust because Madame Schachter had a vision of fire, and this was a sign that the Jews would be burned alive. Babies were being put into ditches and being murdered by fire. There were crematories that bodies would be placed in to dispose of them. Basing a statement off of this evidence, I would say that fire is equivalent to death because everytime Eliezer saw the hot flames, someone or a lot of people would be dying.
