How Did Marilyn Monroe Impact Society

Marilyn Monroe was a beautiful, young woman who had a very large impact on American society. Her real name was Norma Jeane Mortenson. She was and still is a large symbol of sexuality and femininity. Marilyn, or Norma died young which obviously had made people suspicious about how her death may have occurred.
Before her death, Marilyn had a huge impact on many things in American society. Her style was very unique, daring, and even quite provocative for the time period. She wore what she wanted to, even if it went against society’s “rules”. The most important thing was that she knew that she was beautiful and didn’t let other people’s opinions affect her.
Marilyn also had largely impacted how women were imagined. Instead of being forced to play a dumb blond, she wanted to prove that she was serious. She didn’t want people telling her she couldn’t do something, especially when it came to her career. Marilyn most likely made a larger impact than
