Martin Luther King Jr was a social activist leader. He led the civil rights movement from 1950 until he was assassinated in 1968. He gave many inspirational speeches to the community back then. He also played a huge role in ending the legal segregation of African American citizens. He also helped create 2 acts which were the civil rights act of 1964 and the voting rights act in 1965.Martin got lots of honors he received a noble peace prize in 1964. In this essay, I will inform on martin’s impact on the world, the good and bad things he did. Why someone would want to kill him, his impact on me, impact on blacks and whites and his impact to the world and his impact on the nation.
Martin Luther king Jr had a good and bad image to the world back then. Most people from his community loved him because of his powerful speeches. Martin gave strong powerful speeches about life. He mainly pushed and encouraged blacks to the future That one day everything will be better. The blacks back then were very poor and whites looked down on them. Martins success made whites not like him. Martin had gotten so successful that the KKK decided to throw torches in his house one night while him and his family were sleeping.
