Martin Luther King Jr. was influenced at a young child and therefore his journey began. He inspired and gave many speeches and wrote down his thoughts and dreams. King had many accomplishments in his life and gave many people hope. Even where there is hope, there is always negativity to try and stop it. He was a very historical man and will always be remembered. King left a huge impact on the country. Martin Luther King Jr. was an influenced boy who grew into a remarkable man who had many accomplishments, disappointments and left a huge mark on the country and myself. The morning of January 15, 1929 marks the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King. The life of Dr. King was an extraordinary one. He "had a seismic impact on race relations" (Martin, 2017). He was "one of the most influential and inspirational African American leaders in history" (Martin, 2017). His life was one filled with passion and dedication for something he loved. Ever since I was young I was taught about him and the impact he left on the world. I love his work and speeches, and the way he brought people together fascinated me. While writing this paper, I've learned that King did not stop for anything, he kept fighting for what he believed in. He was hurt multiple times, but that did not stop him from marching and speaking. I was not surprised at my peers opinions, because everything they said was true. He did not leave a bad impact on society; he changed the world. I would still like to read and learn about all his speeches. I would also love to learn about the effect he had on people. I want to hear their stories about him.
