How Did Odysseus Come Home

The Odyssey tells of many stories about Odysseus and his will to come home and see his family after the Trojan War. After the days that have drifted by with many adventures and experiences, Odysseus came home. He went through a cyclops, Poseidon’s wrath, and the temptations of different creatures, but he finally gets home to Ithaca. His crew died and the only help he had in the end were from a few loyal friends. He killed the suitors and soon held Penelope in his arms again. He then reunited with his father and with his son who had helped him take down the suitors and defend his kingdom.
Three years after Odysseus returned home he had never been closer to Penelope, after all, he had been gone for 20 years before him coming home. They had adventures of their own on Ithaca and not too far away from it. Penelope kept up with her sewing and Odysseus hunted and taught Telemachus how to hunt and use his bow. They had gotten set into a routine. Odysseus would help Penelope with her work and she with his.
