Did you know that peanut butter was one of the most important and amazing inventions ever invented. It saved the peanut farmers of America. It created the trend of peanut butter and jelly time and also made America the leading producer and importer of peanut butter and peanut products. It not only helps America outside the country but inside too. About two thirds of all nut snacks consumed include peanuts in them and one of the top produced candies in America has peanuts or peanut butter in it.

The ingredients found in peanut butter are roasted peanuts, oil, honey, molasses, and sugar. Peanut butter was made for a purpose that even George Washington Carver didn’t think it would have been made for, peanut farmers here in America were a poor farmers because of the fact that there wasn’t any demand for any peanut products before peanut butter was invented, thanks to peanut butter, peanut farmers are starting to produce a nice amount of money off of peanuts. George was born into slavery to his master Moses Carver when he purchased him, his sister, and his parents, Mary and Giles. Eventually when slavery was abolished Mose Carver started to raise him as his own son. George started to go into education at a fast rate and went to an abundance of schools before finally earning a diploma at Minneapolis High School. Carver started first in the agricultural business when he was offered to head the agricultural department at Tuskegee Institute by Booker T. Washington in 1896. After teaching there for 47 years he had turned that department into a strong department working with two other colleges teaching different methods on how to improve soil quality in areas that are heavily cultivated in cotton.
