Sarah Peretz Etons and The Holocaust
The Holocaust was an awful event. Over 6 million people (Jews) were killed by Hitler's “Army”, but knowing that many people survived, is a miracle. A woman named Sarah Peretz Etons survived through her childhood. During the Holocaust many died. Adolf Hitler was born April 20th, 1889. He was born in Braunau am Inn, Austria. As he grew up and began making an army, he was making plans to kill all Jews. Over time he eventually killed over 6 million Jews, that all had family. Many had survived but their lives were ruined. Ending the war was every person's dream. When the war started to die down, more and more Jews were starting to be killed more often because the Natzi’s were running out of time so they tried to kill more within the time they had. Hitler ended up killing himself because Allied Troops had been coming in and finding and killing them all for killing all of those people, but Hitler had been hiding in a shed, but once someone told the troops where he was, he had killed himself, this happened in 1945.

The life of being a jew was very hard and crucial. They were beat, they were starved, they didn’t have enough water, and barely any clothing for them, because the Nazis took them for themselves. Many Jews were sent to Concentration camps to be murdered. When they were there, they were beaten and given little time to rest. Most of the time they were there to work, and never once, did they have free time to do their own thing. They were kept to work for the Nazis. During this time many died by starvation, cold weather, sickness, and just by being beaten and being too weak to
