Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “The time is always right to do what's right” (King) the Civil rights Movement started in 1954 and ended in the 1070’s. Rosa parks started the Civil rights Movement when she didn't give her seat up to a white man. Martin Luther King Jr. was a leader in the Civil rights Movement and was shot on April 4 1968, Memphis, TN. Martin Luther King Jr.was born on January 16, 1929, and he was a really great person. The Civil rights Movement was a huge thing that changed America forever. In 1960, six-year-old Ruby Bridges changed America by walking up the steps of a only white school to gain an education. When there was a meeting with her counselor, he will have her draw pictures of what she wants, and the white people are fully intact and the colored people were losing limbs. She is very brave not to be afraid. When Bridges was a young she showed that she doesn't cry when she is afraid.

The faith that Bridges shows is when she gets scared, she prays and then she isn't scared any more. She likes to pray when ever she is scared, she is afraid of getting killed. She is afraid that she will be poisoned, so all she will eat is packaged food. She will only drink Coca-cola, because she is afraid that there is poison in the drinks that she usually drinks. Her mom is very upset at her baby girl not eating right, when she heard that one girl threatened to poison her baby girl, she felt so upset.

In conclusion the Civil rights Movement is a great thing that happened, otherwise, America wouldn't be the same. Ruby Bridges was a great person, and she was very brave. Rosa Parks was also a great person. Martin Luther King Jr. was a great leader and a great minister. The Civil rights Movement lasted for 16 years, that is a long time. This was a great thing that has ever happened to America, we all love this
