It is I, Sir Gawain, and I am a knight that likes to go on mysterious quests and adventures. I am one of the many knights of the round table. What is the roundtable you are asking? The round table is a chivalry for the highest ranking knights without having to compete for spots, only the bravest and fearless knights get into the round table. My enemy is “The Green Knight” and he became my enemy because one day he came to the round table and challenged one of us to strike him with an axe that he set down. After he challenged us he the said “This axe I will give to the one who will meet this challenge: that he will take it and strike me one blow with it. I shall take his blow unarmed and unguarded without hesitation or protest. Then, in one year’s time, he shall seek me wherever he may find me and take the same blow from me in like manner. What makes me so honest is that I kept my promise to find and defeat the green knight.
