INTRODUCTION
I. The Beatles were the life proof, that music is the only universal language that is stronger than any weapon and more meaningful than any war.
II. When Paul, John, Pete, Stuart and George formed The Beatles, the idea of becoming one of history’s most important and influential bands, never crossed their minds.
III. You might be wondering why I did not mention Ringo’s name above, and also, who in the world are Stuart and Pete. In my questionnaire, most of you said that you know some of The Beatles’ most famous songs, but the majority did not know who were the founders of the Fab Four.

Unlike his fellow band mates, Best had a quiet personality, although he was known for being the band’s “ladies’ man”. He also was the only member not to get the Beatle haircut. In an interview from the book “The Beatles’ Anthology”, Paul McCartney says Best never “blended in” with his fellow band members.

1. On 1962, after auditioning for EMI Studios, George Martin described Pete’s drumming as “substandard”. So, on August 15, Brian Epstein the band’s manager, proceeded to give Best the news that his band mates had reached an unanimous decision, that he was no longer going to be a member of The Beatles. The band later expressed remorse at the way in which Best’s situation was handled.
2. A few years later, Best moved to the U.S and formed a band called The Pete Best Four, they released the album Best of The Beatles, which turned up to be a huge disappointment for many record buyers. In 1968, he gave up music, and left the industry. He entered a deep state of depression, and attempted suicide, but, luckily, his brother and mother talked him out of it.
