The Beatles are said to be the most influential popular music group of the rock era. British rock’n roll began in the 1950’s and in the 1960’s the Beatles elevated the start of the British invasion. The Beatles had a huge effect on the post-war baby boom generation of the United States, Britain and other countries during the 1960’s. Originally, the Beatles were labeled as pop music which became popular among young women who were also attracted to the group. The band consisted of extensive individuals such as Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. On October 13, 1963, the Beatles were televised in London, and it became Beatlemania. Then, in 1964, the Beatles blew up in the United States after an appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.
At this time, it was extremely important to have someone as a role of the producer. George Martin, who became the Beatles producer, was one of the main reasons for their success. Martin used his previous experience to help get the Beatles off and running. From there, the Beatles began to develop an open-minded studio approach. The song was first released in the UK and reached number one on music charts followed by “Love me do”. The song “Please Please Me”, was provocative and sexy which is why so many girls went crazy with this song and with the Beatles. The song came out at a time when being comfortable with your sexuality was popular in public. The song depicts communication between a boy and a girl. The song, on a more deeper level, is about the boy pleasuring the girl, but her not being able to return the favor. Through the fast temp, the boy is pleasing the girl hoping to get something in return. I also thought that the harmonica at the beginning made it sound pretty
