English bill of rights and the Magna Carta inspired the US constitution because it gave people more freedom. In 1215 The Magna Carta was published. The Magna Carta was a bill that the King John was forced to sign. The Magna Carta limited the Kings powers to prevent him from doing whatever he wanted and giving more democracy to the people. This bill Made it so that if the King wishes to raise taxes, he must get the approval of nobels first. On top of that, the King himself had to follow the law, this meant he cannot kill anyone or take someone's property from them without a reason.
