Football games have been very entertaining for many years. Yet, in my opinion these games are just to risky for the players. I tend to think about how many concussions there are in these games. "A concussion is a brain injury that can cause someone to loose consciousness." As informed in the passage "Weighing the Risks". The brain of many players is continuously damaged when a player hits another players helmet which is called "helmet-to-helmet-hit". These hits can cause a disease called a CTE. This is a disease that "occurs when repeated head trauma causes brain cells to form unusual proteins that hinder blood flow in the brain and kill nerve cells." As confirmed in the passage "Weighing the Risks". Another thing that "helmet-to-helmet-hit" causes is memory loss in some players. In my opinion players wear gear and everything, but most of it doesn't really help. Yet, there are other sport games just as violent.
