Eating Disorders can greatly have a negative impact on the body. The eating disorders Bulimia Nervosa, Anorexia Nervosa, and Binge eating all have many health concerns that may be harmful to the body. Bulimia Nervosa is an eating disorder in which you binge eat, then give in to self-induced vomiting, extreme exercise, or laxatives to get the food out of their systems. Warning signs or symptoms of the disorder, are easy to feel and detect. Some of these include a sore throat, worn tooth enamel, severe dehydration from lack of fluids, and unusual swelling in the cheeks and jaw area.
Of course, there are going to be consequences. These may greatly damage the body. Electrolyte imbalance can lead to irregular heartbeats, that can lead to heart failure and death. Gastric rupture can also occur, but it isn’t common. According to National Eating Disorders, this eating disorder affects 1-2% of the younger female population. Bulimia should be taken seriously even if it doesn’t seem as important as the other eating disorders.

Your body loses a great amount of weight, you refuse to eat certain kinds of food, food intake is clearly to low. You have a great fear of gaining weight and will do anything to not gain any. This disorder has many effects on the body. Your hair will become dry, you will also grow hair on body to retain warmth. Osteoporosis, weakness in the body, infertility, and even brain damage can occur. Your body will basically shut down from lack of nutrients and water in body.
