Right after the death of Julius Caesar, two speeches were heard by the plebeians to appeal to them about the cause of Caesar's death. Between Brutus' and Antony's speech, Antony's effectively appealed to his audience through repetitions and setting examples that breaks Brutus' claims. By continuously stating that Brutus and the other conspirators are such "honorable men", the amplification of the words changes the meaning and reflects his hatred towards them (Shakespear 121, 123). He mentions the conspirators a lot and continues to guide his audience to his point of view or doubting the actions of the conspirators. Antony appeals to his audience through his grief as if he talks in Caesar's funeral since "[his] heart is in the coffin with Caesar"
