The Use of Rhetorical Strategies The Crucible demonstrates an emotional rollercoaster about the lives of the citizens of Salem. The author, Arthur Miller recreates the wild events of the Salem Witch Trials. He uses rhetorical strategies to help the audience better understand his true purpose of The Crucible.
