Trickery one of Hitler's greatest weapons tricking and brainwashing the minds of countless people in Germany into thinking everything he did was ok and it would benefit them well when you are nine years old and you have been tricked into thinking a concentration camp is a farm and the people being slaughtered on the other side of the fence to the “farm” are just farmers with their pigs and chickens.You get a very naive and curious little boy named Bruno. “I don't think the other children look at all friendly.” (page 18 for online version) When Bruno said this to Gretel it was indicating that he was very naive about the whole situation of all those people are prisoners being slaughtered and tortured.
