In Cyrano De Bergerac, the play by Emond Rostand, Cyrano performs grand gestures, actions that are memorable, dramatic and often dangerous that demonstrate his qualities of courage and selflessness. Cyrano is a clever man and has a ton of courage by intimating Montfleury by clapping him off stage and dueling a hundred men around him and winning the fight(Rostand 12).
