Immigration is a good and bad thing for the U.S. for different reasons. But I think that Immigration is hurting our country in different ways. Immigration is changing many things in the U.S like the economy, crime rate, number of people that are here illegally, and how many people don't have papers for health care and don't have any money. America is a great place to live if you are here legally. To start is that immigration is causing the U.S a lot of money to maintain them. There are over 10 million undocumented immigrants that live in the U.S and this causes the America to spend a lot of money to find them and to try to get them the papers to become an american citizen. One problem is the crime rate has gone up, in texas alone there has been about 611,234 crimes and 2,993 killings and this was a major jump for texas crime rate. The other thing is that there has been a big jump in people not having any money when they come here and being in poverty and that causes the U.S to spend more money on them then they should. They will also say that having them here will help us become more diverse and more open for other types of people to come here not matter race or religion. They are also saying that they can help with problems that are facing in nearby places and try to help if needed.
