Due to many events in Victor Frankenstein’s life, it appears in many ways that after Justine’s death he suffers from psychological torture. Arguably, after Justine dies Victor had become psychologically tortured, the monster kills his brother and planted the evidence on Justine to suffer for the crime. This left Victor feeling guilty for the causes of both deaths, he claims that nothing is more painful to the human mind, than, after the feelings have been worked up by a quick succession of events, the dead calmness of inaction and certainty which follows, and deprives the soul both of fear and hope. When the monster sees that he has given up the monster then becomes angry and Victors torture will begin to continue again. The monster wanted to psychically and psychologically torture Victor. The monster had to torture Victor in every way he could, he knew that killing his brother was not enough. While Victor was on a boat in Scotland a body washes up on shore with black fingerprints around the body's neck. Victor appears around the same time in the body and the townspeople puts Victor to the cause of the crime scene even though he had not been present. Victor, charged for the death and becomes physically and psychologically ill when he sees that the bodies, he subjected for accusation for happened to his best friend Henry. He finally gets released and gets to marry his step sister Elizabeth, before his marriage, he runs into the monster and the monster explains that he will see him on his wedding night.
