Many People believe that social disorder is caused by fear and mistrust of the police. Things like police brutality and racial profiling. The police in the United States where made to protect and serve the people. Racial profiling has always been a major problem in the United States, ever since in the 1960’s and early 1970’s a police force was made just to watch black people and people of color. People of color are scared to get pulled over or stopped by the police because they know that just because of there race the might go to jail. Racial profiling has caused mistrust in the police because of how the person might feel, and from this mistrust, the person is less likely to listen to what the police has to say and become disorderly
