Victor Frankenstein acts out of curiosity to create something new but ends up hurting the community at large. Victor Frankenstein in a character in Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, which is a fictional book. Victor's purpose in the novel is to show how ambition can ruin your life. When Victor creates his new thing, he ends up running away from the creation which will end up causing his life to run downhill as a Byronic hero. In the beginning of the novel, Victor is a child who is fascinated by science and lightning after he sees lightning strike a tree (22). Victor then goes to college when he is older, but is asked to leave because he is smarter than his professors (Chapter 4). Victor then starts collecting bones and remains from humans and animals
