Eventually it became to hard to keep their identity secret and they had to hide . Your identity is molded throughout your life and you can’t hide it. Don’t let others change your identity for you. People's identities are all different, shaped by hundreds of factors like family, religion, friend groups, etc. I have learned to embrace my identity that has been molded throughout my life. The top two factors that have shaped my identity have been my family and my friends. Family is a large factor when determining who you are.
