“...and I will bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder you.” This threatening quote was said by Abigail Williams when she threatened the girls to keep their mouths shut. Abigail Williams is an intimidating young girl. In the play “The Crucible” Abigail played a big role with the salem witch trials. Abigail was also accused of having an affair with a middle-aged married man. Abigail Williams and I have comparable personality traits such as we are both bold, aggressive and very determined.
Abby was extremely bold when she had stolen her uncle’s money. She had stolen 31 pounds. Today that would be $38.62! Abigail Williams and Mercy Lewis ran away together and was never heard of again. There has been times where I have been bold myself. When I get into trouble at school and have to talk to the principle I get an attitude. I don't get an attitude to be funny I get one because I am mad. Also, there was a time when I had to talk to police officers and I lied to them because I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble. If the cop was to know I lied to him I could have went to a juvenile detention center. My friend told me I was bold for lying for her but I did it to save her future.
