In the book Animal Farm the animals are very different compared to the ones in today's society, but also very alike. Just like today's animals many of them are mistreated, abused, not given the correct care and so on. In 1787 when the United States constitution was written it was meant to give equality to all men and women, but left animals out. In today's world animals have few if any rights, but there are laws in place to help protect them from man. Not all people see animals as important or equal to humans, but one thing is for sure they can feel emotions just like us such as happiness, pain, excitement, and etc. If animals can feel emotions and act in a manner almost as humans do then they must be entitled to some rights some might think. …show more content…
People are allowed to speak freely, and practice religion, Allows people to own weapons, guns, etc, Army´s can no longer force someone to let them stay, Government needs warrant in order to take people, papers, etc, can only be tried once , doesn't have to testify, Speedy trial, lawyer, able to be charged with crime, Guaranteed a trial, Fair punishment, no extraordinary long fines, Just because something may not be listed, cannot violent, and Powers not allowed to government, will be given to state. Those are the basic rights,but there are many more that either don´t stand out as much, or have as much of an effect.
