Important traits of Atticus Finch
In Harper Lee’s novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” Atticus Finch is one of the main characters. He is one of the most important people in the book. Harper Lee describes atticus as many things but some of them are caring, Intelligent, and mature. He is a well guy in Maycomb Alabama. Atticus is mostly those three things cause that’s what everyone describes him as. Atticus Finch is mostly described as caring. Atticus said that killing a mockingbird is a sin and he cares about his kids not committing a sin. He cares about their safety and the he cares about the bird itself. “ I'd rather you shoot at tin cans in the back yard, but I know you’ll go back after the birds.” He tells his kids that he cares about them and …show more content…
Atticus finch was intelligent in many ways. He choses his actions wisely. He teaches his kids the correct way to act. “ There’s a lot of ugly things in this world son, I wish I could keep’em all away from way but that’s never possible.” Atticus is a lawyer and to be a lawyer you have to very intelligent. He is a very smart/intelligent man. “ How is your lawyer , on a scale of Atticus finch to Franklin bash.”
Atticus Finch is also a father to his two kids a boy and girl. The third trait of atticus is mature. To be a father you have to very mature. Atticus finch deals or goes through a lot throughout the book. He is a mature person to deal with everything he goes though. “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view...until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.” He always sees the best in everything. “ You just hold your head high and keep those fists down, no matter what anybody says to you, don’t let them get your goat. Try fighting with your head for a change.
These reasons are why we think Atticus Finch is a caring, intelligent, and mature guy. Atticus always sees the best in everything. He wants everything to be good and taken care of. Him over as a person is a good
