This book shows many reasons of why to be brave no matter what comes your way. This book was worth my time because It actually helped me learn new things.! Learned a lot of New things just by reading this book. Something that confused me was why do you have to get hit whenever it is your birthday? Whatever age your turning,That’s how much you get hit. “ One.! Don’t cry or you will get a double hit. Two.!! Don’t tell or you will get hit more. Three.! Four.! I think I see water in this eyes.!! Said beans. Five.!!! Watching out yelled Mutto. Six.!! Seven.! Eight.!! STAY STRONG.!! This time he takes it slow..NINEEE.!!! (Pages 22-25).” The ending was a really good ending because Palmer finally stood up for his beliefs. He is no longer scared. Something else that confused me was when Palmer said “ They are my friends now, they were just waiting until I was 9 and when I’m 10 they will be my true friend (page 28).” This is not a sign of true friends. True friends can be your friend no matter how old you are. I would recommend this book to all my friends and Maybe even family members so they can learn new stuff just like I
