They were a lot of things going on in the recent chapters and everything was kind of new to Amir as well as some of the things that he has recently found has changed his life forever. Some of the thing he found out was; Ali ‘s dead, Hassan’s married to Farzana, their first child died but second is alive and in Kabul, Hassan's mom came back but is died after 4 years, Hassan and Farzana were killed by the Taliban for not giving Amir's house under their control, and the biggest secret Hassan is Amir's half brother. Even for Amir this new facts that were brought to light are a lot to handle and take in for one conversation. Although I am not as surprised that Amir and Hassan are half-brothers because in the beginning of the book when Baba gave more attention to Hassan compared to Amir I really thought that him and Sanaubar had a dark evil past, so it does not surprise me that my prediction came true. …show more content…
I think Amir's the reaction to the situation was reasonable because he was told that his entire life was a lie, that he had a sibling who be betrayed, and maybe if Baba or Ali told him early he would not have done what he did, as well as he would have not separated a child from his father, and would not have lost his brother.
