The American Dream is something that everyone strives for but not everyone get’s due to certain conditions. The american dream has been the centerpoint of american’s goal since since the early settlers came to visit. It’s an idea of prosperity, land, and good health which makes every american wondering, how can I achieve it? The american dream is possible to those who work hard for it and is not possible to those who give no effort in trying to succeed.
The american dream is possible to those who work hard for it and it will provide abundance to those. “People are working hard and getting to have fun with their lives” (John Stossel). People who work hard experience a better life due to their access to enjoying the bigger things which means they enjoy the american dream because they can do all the things that they enjoy and that they want to do.”We goin get our pay and go out and spend all it on some land”(Of Mice and men movie). It shows how kids have gotten greedy because their parents are working hard and they are complaining that they don’t have enough. Many people are worried about their next meal but aren’t wanting to do anything to earn it. The american dream will reward those who work for it but if they expect it to work hard for you it won’t. “George wants to earn all his money just to spend it on off days”(Mice of men Movie).George doesn’t see the bigger picture and thinks that life is all about money and all he has to do is go from job to job trying to find the one that fits the best.
