Parramatta is a suburb of Sydney, Australia. It was established by the British in 1788. It is a centre of business, and the centre of transport in Western Sydney. Parramatta is the oldest city in Australia. It consists of many important historical buildings and places such as Cumberland Hospital Museum, Harris Park Heritage Walk, and it is the home of education, and has many schools as Arthur Phillip High School, which was built in 1960. Parramatta has many celebrations, and events, such as January Sydney Festival, and Australia Day, November Christmas in Parramatta.
