Some gun control laws should be removed because gun control laws don't make you feel safer, they will prevent you from defending yourself and your family, and they don't stop criminals from obtaining guns or using them. Gun control laws say you can’t have a gun that doesn’t make you feel any safer at all because anyone could obtain it. They prevent you from defending yourself, so if you need to save yourself you can’t because you probably don’t have a gun. Lastly, any criminal could steal a gun and use it despite the gun control laws. Overall some gun control laws should be removed because most of them don’t really help at all.

"The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun." This quote says that, without a gun it is almost impossible to protect yourself from a criminal with a gun. You can’t really protect your family and yourself from a bad guy with a gun without a gun yourself. "Many gun control laws interfere with the ability of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves against violent criminals." Most of the gun control laws don’t allow to to have a gun or make it harder to own a gun, this makes it harder to defend yourself. Of course, something like a criminal attacking could happen rarely, but the gun control laws will make it harder to prepare yourself if any if this were to happen. Therefore, gun control laws make it harder for you to protect you and your family.
Many people assume that if no one has a gun it ‘s impossible for a criminal to obtain a gun to but gun control laws only make it harder to own a gun not impossible and anyone can just steal a gun. "The problem with such [gun control] laws is that they take away guns from law-abiding citizens, while would-be criminals ignore them."
