(intro) Gatorade has been become a drink that all athletes enjoy to drink. Although, you always have that one person who disagrees with everything. Some believe that water is the best thing in the world for everyone and they aren’t wrong, but water isn’t the best for people all the time. Water is a great way for us athletes to hydrate ourselves, but Gatorade will be right there next to us to help make the winning point when water isn’t.

When you’re being active it is crucial that you stay hydrated. If you’re exercising vigorously then you should be drink something that has plenty of electrolytes. Now if you’re working out at a moderate pace you should be drinking water to keep yourself hydrated. Gatorade has been proven to work on athletes back in 1965. Many college football players had been getting ill due to the hot sun. So as a solution the physicians at the University of Florida created this electrolyte filled drink. Soon the whole nation was thirsty for this sports drink.
