I began volunteering at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in February of 2016. My duties include organizing patient charts, transporting patient specimen to the lab, ensuring patient equipment remains fully charged, distributing meals, and completing various tasks for the nurses on the floor. However, my role in the hospital community of Henry Mayo is to provide the patients of my hometown with emotional support during calamitous times.
