I am a member of both the American Chemical Society and the Rowan University Gaming Club since freshman year. As a result, I was able to recognize the passions and strengths of each club. On one hand, the ACS club illustrated the importance of cooperation and teamwork when helping the community and each other. This club also showed me different research opportunities in campus. For example, through the help of ACS, I was able to obtain a research position with Dr. Timothy Vaden of the Chemistry department. I have been working with Dr. Vaden since Summer of sophomore year.
