1.Hiv is retrovirus ,which will weaken your immune system to the point, if not stopped, where your body will no longer be able to fight life threatening disease ,this is called aids. HIV is the infection and Aids is the condition resultant of the virus. As it is a virus it can only be shown by an electron microscope. HIV stands for Human immunodeficiency virus and AIDS stands for Acquired immune deficiency syndrome, which is a terminal illness. There is no cure to HIV or AIDS and the drugs prescribed to you will only delay the infection and help you live a longer life.

The reason they have more kids is a mixture of different factors. The first is economic reasons and the fact that maybe they can’t afford contraception and health care. The next is a government problems there is lots of corruption in Africa and not much money is spent on facilities there is not much health care there therefore the chances of actually having a kid are so low that they have to have it have sexual intercourse more so they have higher chance of having a kid. Next is a social factor because of education and the fact that they aren’t educated. From this we see that in 2011 South Africa men aged between 15 and 49, over 15% had HIV.

3. An epidemic is a widespread occurrence of a widespread disease in a community at a certain time. This can happen because of lack of hygiene and contamination.
