Have you ever wondered of what might be out there? Not outside of your house or outside of school, but out there? As we all know, the universe is enormous, and it’s still expanding. Even though we have discovered many new things about this vast new world outside of our own, there is still much more we can learn about our universe that could be a huge new discovery today. But many of these findings wouldn’t have been possible if it weren't for the Hubble Space Telescope. The one who built this magnificent telescope was Edwin Hubble himself, who was a astronomer and a scientist. It’s funny to see how one man named Hubble, A telescope, discoveries made by it, and implications from it, really changed the world’s views about the universe. That is the only beginning though for this great tool that we still use today, The Hubble telescope.

But no one, not even an eagle, can see as far as the Hubble Telescope made by Edwin Hubble. Now the Hubble telescope is a,” Basic reflector with a 94.5-inch (2.4 meter) mirror”, which is packed with tools that give astronomers crystal clear views of the universe in infrared and ultraviolet light (2). The telescope also launched in 1990, but it was supposed to be launched before hand if it wasn't due for a space shuttle exploding in 1986, which delayed any other launches close by until 1990 when it finally did launch (2). The basic knowledge to know about the telescope is that the telescope, “ is a telescope that orbits the earth”(3). “ Its position above the atmosphere, which distorts and blocks the light that reaches our planet, gives it a view of the universe that typically for surpass that of ground-based telescopes”(3). Hubble wanted to make something that was above the rest, and he did so when he finally built the telescope and was set into space not to long
