On december 10, 1884 Mark Twain published The adventures of huckleberry finn a satire book that is now seen as a great american classic. Huck finn is the sequel to tom sawyer and apart of a trilogy with another book that mark twain never finished. The book follow huck finn as he escapes with a runaway slave named jim they travel down the missouri river and try to escape slavery as the story progress huck struggles with the themes of equality and race does he help jim escape which goes against what he was taught growing up or turn in his friend some one hes is being to see as an equal. The adventures of huckleberry finn by mark twain has been banned in many school as being to controversial for the themes and the use of the word nigger. Many others see the book as a great american novel that should be ready and taught in school because of the lessons taught in the book.
