Human activity is the main cause for global warming. We are slowly killing ourselves, and this

needs to change! Every time we use our improved form of transportation such as a vehicle we

are releasing fossil fuels into the atmosphere. Another problem is that not only humans are

being effected by global warming. Animals are too! As the earth heats up the sun absorbs more

water, causing the lakes and rivers to dry up, leaving no water for animals to drink. Last but

certainly not least there has been no applicable chance in solar output within the last two

decades. Therefore scientists are able to prove that humans are the main cause.

Driving a car is the most air polluting act an average citizen commits. Air pollution is not a good

idea for a variety of reasons, large and small. Cars in the United States emit about 300 million

tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere each year. Overall, cars account for roughly 41

percent of the average person's negative impact on the Earth. Releasing fossil fuels into our

atmosphere is eating away at our ozone layer bit by bit. Although this is a huge convenience to

society, this act gis creating an unhealthy environment. Without a healthy environment, there

will be few or no healthy humans.

Animals will also have a hard time with surviving this horrible tragedy that we have brought upon ourselves. Sure its "just a pop can" but this simple gesture of littering that humans tend to

do on a daily basis is risking the animal's lives. Littering is one of the most common human

activities that harms our environment. When we drop that one piece of garbage on the ground,

it takes about 10 years for it to completely decompose into the earth. Even something as

commonly used as hairspray, is contaminating our atmosphere. The ozone layer gets thinner

therefore making the earth get hotter. When the Earth heats up, the sun absorbs more water

from lakes and oceans. If all the Earth dries up then the animals; and not to mention us humans

won't have anything to drink. So, our
