Ethical standards in the Human Service field offer a fundamental structure for professional behavior to be upheld at all times by individuals working in the area. According to (Kornberger & Brown, 2007) the primary objective of human service is to help individuals attain self-sufficiency in addition to achieving the best level of operating (Martin, 2014). defines ethical as sticking to acceptable rules of behavior and normally entails the values below: respect to others, encouraging self-development, embracing diversity, promoting social justice in addition to upholding integrity and honesty.
In the human service field, ethical standards revolve around five main arears. Obligation to client that entail developing client strengths and getting informed consent in addition to protecting clients in professional manner. Obligation to the general public in addition to the society which entails giving out service without bias ages on race, age, nationality or any other, awareness and respect of culture within their areas of operation amongst others. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” 1 John 3:17-18 “But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but indeed and in truth”. Proverbs 21:13 “Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered”. All this verses compliment human service ethics earlier written in this
