Did you know that nearly 80% of human trafficking is for sexual purposes, and 19% is for labor exploitation. When people think of human trafficking they think of forced labor being done mostly not sexual practices. Human trafficking affects the mental health and social well-being of its victims. H.T.(Human Trafficking) is also a dangerous business and needs to be stopped for everyone. It also is destroying and scaring its victims for life. In general Human trafficking affects the mental health and social well- being of it victims. Human trafficking is modern-day slavery and involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. An estimated of 32 billion dollars are made from the profits of human trafficking globally. Also 29 countries have not joined a protocol of fighting against human trafficking. The statistics of human trafficking for how common human trafficking is around the world varies for certain places. Human trafficking has been around for many centuries. Trafficking was originally know as slavery in the year 1400 and adapted the name “White Slave Traffic”. White slavery was basically referred to white females (all ages) in prostitution. As years went on problems with males and females at all ages started to happen appear with white slavery. In addition to that; that’s how human trafficking got its name today as human trafficking. People do human trafficking because they can make a hefty price on human trafficking. PTSD, anxiety, fear, trauma,etc can affect a lot of victims. Trafficking children and minors can also impact them because of their age. Victims who weren’t getting regular social interaction with others can cause them to have social ostracism. This causes victims not to be able to talk to others and engage with others. Not all impacts on victims are physical, mental and emotional. It also affects interstate and foreign commerce. Victims are shipped in different places making human trafficking national and international economy growth second in the world.
