I, Cesar Cortez, a U.S. Citizen, am writing this letter in support of the evidence of the I-601A application for Provisional Unlawful Waiver regarding my wife Juana Jimenez Padilla. If my wife Juana is not allowed this waiver, I, Cesar Cortez, as well as our daughter Analea Cortez, who is only 18 months of age, would face extreme hardships. Our daughter Analea is very much attached to her mother and having her mother away would affect her mentally since she is very young and barely developing. Juana is an essential element in the life of our daughter since she is at an early stage in her life in which she needs the support and nurture of her mother. It is of crucial importance to me to know that my daughter will be saved the trauma of having her mother be miles away in a country where, as a husband and family, we will not be able to care for Juana the way we would like to. …show more content…
My goal in doing so is to not only better myself as a person, but also be able to better the lives of my wife Juana and my daughter Analea. Financially, my spouse and I make about $48,865 a year. If my wife is not granted this waiver it would be quite difficult for me because I would be the only one in the household to support the costs of my daughter and myself; this not including the rent of $1,435 a month my wife and I presently pay for a one room apartment together. I help pay the majority of the rent, $1,000, while my wife, Juana, pays the other $435. Juana is part of my financial support and without her help I would be forced to not only move, but also find a second job in order to keep my daughter and me afloat, causing lack of time that could be spent with
