Greetings! I am John Adams, I was the second president of the United States of America. I was born October 30, 1735 on the Province of Massachusetts Bay. I lived on a farm along with my brothers and parents. My parents names are Susanna Adams and John Adams Sr. I was named after my dad. The sad thing is, when I was only 26 years old, my dad died from the flu epidemic. I also have two younger brothers, Peter and Elihu. I went to Harvard college. A few years later, on October 25, 1764 I got married to my third cousin, Abigail Adams. After that, we had six amazing children. Their names are, Abigail, John Quincy, Susanna, Charles, Thomas, and Elizabeth. I was working as a lawyer then, and the next thing you know I was a Massachusetts delegate to the Continental Congress. Also, on July 4, 1776, I signed the Declaration Of Independence, which I also helped draft. I was one of the two men who signed it and later became president. The other one was Thomas Jefferson. I was president from 1797-1801. With my friend and vice president alongside me, Thomas Jefferson, I had a good 4 years of presidency. I was the first president in the White House. I was known as a Founding Father of the United States who played a leading role in the American Revolution. Some of my other accomplishments included opposing the 1765 Stamp act, advocating complete separation from Great Britain, and negotiating peace through the 1783 Treaty of Paris. I also led the US through the Quasi War with France. In my first year of my presidency, my beloved mother died. Whenever I was away, I would send letters to Abigail.
