Martin Luther King wrote a very important speech that was important in the United States history, he was a Civil Rights activist that encouraged African Americans to fight for their freedom and rights. By writing his famous speech “I Have a Dream” King wanted to express that everyone is equal no matter their differences or their skin color, to express his point King alludes to The Constitution of the United States and he also alludes to Gandhi to demonstrate that violence should not be used when fighting for your rights. Similarly, Abraham Lincoln also alludes to the Constitution to explain that everyone is equal however, Lincoln alludes to past battles which are violent.
