Everyone has dreams. I am no different, and there are numerous dreams I would like to realize in my life. At the present the three that are the most important are graduating college to become an occupational therapist, having a family, and living my life to the fullest. A dream I have is to graduate college and become an occupational therapist. An occupational therapist (OT for short) teaches people how to do daily things after some type of injury. For instance, if an elderly person has a stroke and they forget how to write or eat, an OT will teach them how to do those things. Also, occupational therapists help children. When a child has a learning disability or has special need an OT can be called to help the child. The occupational therapist can teach the child how to walk, talk to people, and many other things. The main reason I want to become an occupational therapist is because I love to help people accomplish things and make them feel happy about learning something. Not many people become an OT. Many people look back on their lives and say, “I wish I would have”. Instead, I want to say,” I am glad I did”. When I am, one day laying on my death bed, I do not want to have any regrets. I would like to look back at my life and be proud of what I have accomplished. It would be amazing knowing that when I die people remember me for my actions and how I made them feel. I want to leave this life, go to heaven and look down at my family knowing that I left them at a good time and that they will miss me and never forget me. Before I die I want to accomplish one thing, be happy with my life. I want to be happy with everything that I accomplished.
