I'm Not Scared – CHAPTER SUMMARIES

CHAPTER 1: Main characters have a race, Maria hurts her leg. Barbara forced to complete a forfeit, Michele does it instead. Michele completes forfeit. Most of the main characters are talked about. Papa brings them a present of a model Gondola; Acqua Traverse is revealed.

CHAPTER 2: There is a talk with Michele and Maria at the start. Michele finds Fillipo, there is a lot of description of Michele finding him. Michele at this point is horrified, he tries to talk to him but gets even more scared. Michele has a second talk with Maria, Michele says he is going to run away from home, but in the end of the conversation he went home. At the end of this chapter you get a very good description of Mama. …show more content…
He begins to have this feeling the whole town is watching him when he is riding around alone.

CHAPTER 9: Michele wakes up again. He now keeps to himself. He doesn't really feel like playing with the rest of the group. But now Michele returns, they all talk. They see helicopters, and all of the adults are inside.

CHAPTER 10: This is the final chapter of I'm Not Scared. The start of it has mama in the kitchen she is cutting cheese Michele senses that something is wrong, Mama is covering up her cries, then they all hug and start crying then mama immediately stops and sends them to bed, she is obviously really stressed out. The old man has a few words to Felice, calling him a pansy and a poof, Felice fights the old man and Felice knocks im to the ground. The old man gets up and says prove that you're a man, Felice acts very macho and says he will slit the boy open like a lamb. Michele sneaks out of the hous and into Papa's truck. Michele's imagination starts kicking in and he starts thinking of bad stuff which is going to happen to him. Michele Frantically finds Fillipo, he has much trouble getting him out of the hole, Michele is hurt badly, he needs to get Fillipo out of the hole. He tries so hard, he finnaly gets out. Michele tells Fillipo to run for it he eventually gets away. Michele finds papa he says "Papa its Miche…" Papa had shot Michele, thinking It
