One of the most difficult things I have experienced was earning my way to race in the the IHSAA 4A State cross country meet. During the season, I had to push myself harder than I thought I was capable of running which helped me improve. Along the way, I set little goals that would keep my on the right path. Sometimes when I finished a race and fell short of my goals, I would start to doubt. But I kept a positive attitude and kept pushing myslef in each practice and meet. I learned that through dedication, perseverance, and faith, I can achieve anything I set my goals to. Sometimes there are setbacks, but that doesn't have to prevent you from achieving your ultimate goals. It took me three years to finally run in the State race, and I am proud
