In Imagine Dragons “Believer” the title stand references something that you believe in and have a lot of confidence in. When The Singer says “I’m the master of my sea” He Is making a metaphor about how his life is the sea and that he is in control of where he ends up in this big sea. When he says “All the hate you’ve heard has turned your spirit to a dove” this is hyperbole Meaning that you physically cannot turn into a dove, hence the hyperbole used to make that line stand out from the rest.
